PERFORMANCE Ball
You need:
• Slow to medium pace for more time to get in position.
• Soft impact to forgive off-centre hits.
• Little or no spin for simple trajectories.
You need:
• Fast pace to move your opponent around.
• Strong impact to get the most out of middled shots.
• Maximum spin to vary trajectory.

These balls are highly recommended for children.

Most of these balls can be used in official adult competitions.
To help you choose the right tennis balls, Decathlon’s Research and Development centre carried out methodical tests on 4 important criteria that you should take into account: Comfort on impact, spin, speed and long-lasting felt. These tests were put in place by Decathlon and validated by each of the brands.
COMFORT ON IMPACT
Impact felt by a player on hitting the ball. The lower the impact, the more comfortable the ball.
SPIN
Ball’s ability to take spin.
SPEED
Ball’s ability to accelerate.
LONG-LASTING FELT
Felt’s ability to resist abrasion.
